VONG PHU ISLAND
What is your travel style? Immersing yourself in places with rich historical value or enjoying the majestic nature? Vọng Phu Island in Binh Dinh province encompasses both aspects.
“Binh Dinh has Vong Phu mountain,
Thi Nai lagoon, and Cu Lao Xanh.
Anyone who comes to Binh Dinh with me
Will enjoy red pumpkin soup cooked with coconut water.”
Naturally, Binh Dinh finds its way into poetry, as it possesses both historical significance and magnificent natural beauty.
Vong Phu Island is located in Chanh Oai hamlet, Cat Hai commune, Phu Cat district, Binh Dinh province. When viewed from the sea, it resembles a woman holding her child, gazing towards the distant horizon. Vọng Phu rock stands 700 meters above sea level, and during the Tay Son Rebellion, it served as a “sea observatory” to monitor a vast expanse of the ocean.
