“MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL NIGHT”

On the evening of September 27th, 2023 (which corresponds to the 13th day of the 8th lunar month), Ohana Village Resort organized the “Mid-Autumn Festival Night” at the Viet-Nhat Hill. The event aimed to create beautiful memories of a cozy and warm Mid-Autumn Festival for children.

The program featured numerous exciting and captivating performances. One of the highlights was the Lion Dance, which thrilled the children. They not only watched the performance but also had the opportunity to touch the lion’s head, interact with the lion dancers, and take photos with the lion and deities such as the God of Wealth and the Earth Deity. Street magic was another mesmerizing act that left the children in awe, with surprising and entertaining tricks performed by the magician. There were also riddles and puzzles with prizes hosted by the beautiful Hang, as well as vibrant stage decorations with lanterns, straw, bamboo branches, and lion heads.

One of the main activities of the program was the “Lantern Coloring Workshop,” which provided a platform for children to showcase their artistic talents. The greatest joy was seeing their hand-painted lanterns come to life, creating beautiful memories for them during this Mid-Autumn season. It was also an opportunity for families to come together, with mothers mixing colors for their older brothers’ drawings or fathers providing guidance to their younger sisters in adding vibrant colors to their adorable wooden lanterns. This heartwarming image captured the essence of familial bonds during this festive season.

We hope that this program will be held many more times in the future, bringing even more sweet and joyful experiences to the children, fostering a sense of warmth and togetherness within families.
